The first meeting in Youth’s Creative Voice

The transnational consortium of the Erasmus+ Youth’s Creative Voice Project met in Tarragona, Spain on the 20th and 21st of March 2025 to kick off the project and set the course for the next two years.

nEUROcare final partner meeting

The nEUROCare project continues to make remarkable progress, bringing together all project members from both European and Sri Lankan partner universities for the final meeting held on the 25th November 2024 at the University of Colombo.

During the meeting, significant outcomes of the project were discussed, including:

  • Curriculum Development: The finalized curriculum, designed to address the educational needs for neurodegenerative care, will soon be made accessible.
  • Training Milestones: Over 750 professionals and students have been trained through CPD sessions, surpassing the initial target. Topics covered include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered care etc, contributing to enhanced professional capabilities.
  • Focus Groups & Awareness Initiatives: Focus groups were conducted across all partner universities, providing valuable insights into knowledge gaps and opportunities for improved NDD care. Additionally, outreach efforts such as workshops, seminars, and media campaigns have heightened public awareness.
  • Accreditation Progress: Partner institutions continue to advance their accreditation processes.
  • Evaluations Completed: All internal and external evaluations, including CPD and Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices assessments, have been successfully completed, ensuring the project meets its quality standards.

New Erasmus + YOUTH project approved

The Spanish national Erasmus office has just approved another Erasmus+ YOUTH project in which Triskelion’s youth workers will participate. The project is 2 years and is called:

Youth’s Creative Voice in Modern Media Language

Partners in the project are: Araxa from Turkey, Asociasa Kurybines from Lithuania, Acociate Demetrius from Romania, Radocas initiativas centrs from Latvia, and Educom from Greece.

Objectives:

  • To elevate the skills and competencies of youth workers in the realm of multimodal literacy, enabling them to adeptly engage with and empower young people through innovative communication strategies
  • To facilitate the continuous professional development of youth workers through accessible and interactive digital training resources
  • To endow both youth workers and young people with the capacity to seamlessly integrate multimodal literacy into their digital skill set

Kickoff for DEDICATION project in Bucharest

The international team of the DEDICATION project met in Bucharest, Romania in December 2024 to kick off the 36 month, 400 000 Euro Erasmus+ project led by University of Kristianstad. The project is called: DEDICATION-

Digitisation and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) to Enhance Care for Youth with Congenital Anomalies: A Training Program for Healthcare Workers in Delivering Psychosocial Interventions

This project is developing a one-day and 1micro-credit training course for healthcare workers, focusing on digitalisation and VR technology for psychosocial interventions in youth with congenital anomalies (CA). Recognising the paramount need in the EU for accessible psychosocial interventions, this initiative aims to enhance healthcare workers’ skills and address the current shortfall of such interventions in the EU, offering families and youth more interactive, quality psychosocial support.
